We store some data to run TixDorm reliably — for example, to deliver tickets, prevent fraud, handle support requests, and meet financial or legal obligations.

This policy explains what we keep, for how long, and how you can request deletion.

What data we retain

  • Account data: email, profile details, and basic settings.
  • Event data: event listings, images/flyers, and configuration needed for the event page.
  • Transaction data: payment status, references, and payout records (where applicable).
  • Communication logs: emails sent (tickets, verification, support) and WhatsApp conversation state when you use WhatsApp features.

Retention duration

We retain data for different periods depending on what it is used for:

  • Active accounts: we keep data while your account remains active so the platform works as expected.
  • Inactive accounts: we may keep account data for 12–24 months after inactivity to support reactivation, prevent fraud, and maintain platform safety.
  • Financial/legal records: some transaction and payout records may be retained longer if required by law or to resolve disputes.

If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize data where possible — but we may retain limited records required for compliance (for example, financial auditing).
